Expectations run high of artist moms at Halloween: Spooky decor. I made her out of stuff I found in the garbage, stuff from Craig's List Free section, three packs of  tissue paper and golden's acrylic medium. Belmont.

Be true to your school. My favorite school caught on fire, Halloween 2008.

I have a few fond memories of Hancock School, Lexington, MA not on account of getting learned in important topics. I don't think I learned the three R's there.

What I remember was making my debut as an artist. Being allowed to sit to the side and do my own projects while the other kids had to learn things I absorbed better by keeping my hands busy.
