Below left: Hats and the making of lovely but soft and comfortable things are my response cancer since being asked by one lovely survivor of now more than 15 years. Everyone's been asking for more hats since the last batch, and now that I have a place to do it: here they come!

2/10/2010 Making invitations to somebody wonderful's wedding. There is a vellum sleeve over the invitation with an interference hue blue on plum, Canson Effects paper in plum. I love the way the interference matches the blue of the stationary and envelopes. Aged parchment is the base for text. I have to hand it to Canson for coming up with great surfaces to work with and great customer service!

Nothing like painting yardage in the wind!

Shantung for wall hanging of springtime tree branches. Install 3/27 Boston, install opening 4/23 Belmont, different selections.

Steam set dye painting on silk with pastes, resists, discharge, marking and washes
